Mirapaint micronized glass is a line of high-performance additives produced from post-industrial recycled glass for use in CASE formulations (coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomeres).

Mirapaint products have high MOHS hardness for improved scratch and rub resistance, low oil absorption for easy dispersion and flow, and increased loading for higher pigment volume to balance dry film performance. Mirapaint micronized glass is inert and has little or no reactivity with various chemicals.

When used in your formulations, Mirapaint micronized glass provides a controlled particle size distribution for rheological consistency in your coating formulations. Mirapaint micronized glass is translucent and should have minimal effect on color values. The impact on gloss is dependent on particle size. Designed for use in water-based, solvent-based, and 100% solids systems, Mirapaint micronized glass is crystalline silica-free, environmentally safe, and a sustainable product.
