Miracem glass powders are low-carbon footprint supplementary cementing materials (SCMs) specially formulated for use in Portland cement concrete, mortar and grout.

Its consistent physical properties, very low loss on ignition, and controlled particle size make Miracem a material of choice for reuse in high-value-added products. Miracem micronized glass is a translucent product that does not contain crystalline silica and is produced entirely from clean, post-industrial clear glass.

Miracem products have a pozzolanic activity index that allows them to replace 10 to 20% of the Portland cement content. Miracem L-12 (CSA) and L-12-F (CSA) grades specifically meet CSA A-3000-18 standards. Miracem L-12 (CSA) is our standard SCM grade, while Miracem L-12-F contains an added nano-silica component that improves settlement resistance and pozzolanic activity. In mortar and concrete, Miracem micronized glass acts as a pozzolanic material.
